Lavender Essential Oil

Whether you wet or dry pail, add a few drops to your nappy bucket as a disinfectant or for a fresh smell.

Lavender oil is a natural antiseptic and disinfectant with many uses. A bottle lasts a long time as you only use a few drops at a time.

If you’re dry-pailing then use a few drops on some fabric at the bottom of the bucket or attached to the lid to keep it smelling fresh.

Please note that some babies can be sensitive to the oil so ensure you rinse the nappies well. In addition some manufacturers discourage the use as it can deteriorate the nappy fibres. Do not use tea tree oil neat on the skin.
